Madisen has turned into a fish! She
LOVES to swim & has been a competent floaty swimmer for a while. We decided to give her some swimming lessons to arm her with some skills & confidence. She had 8 lessons in 2 weeks & I'm IMPRESSED with the progress she made. She swims from one side of the pool to the other... & is
starting to get the hang of coming up for a breath.
After only 2 lessons we were at the pool with some friends. Before we arrived, she announced that she wasn't going to need her floaties anymore because she knew how to swim. YIKES! She's actually at the most dangerous stage because she thinks she's got it & she wants to do it, but she's not quite strong enough. I'm confident that by the end of the summer she'll be pretty independant!

{Floating on her back is not her favorite, but she's getting braver}

{I love that she plugs her nose!}

I swear I look at your posts about Madisen and I feel like you are writing about Avery. It's uncanny to me, they seem so similar to me. She is adorable swimming under water, what a good idea at the beginning of the summer to start lessons.
So cute! I remember Daniel taking some lessons last summer! He did so good, but we stopped once we got to Florida...no he really needs them again! So I guess the key is to keep the lessons going until they can actually swim well! ;) Who knew!?!?!
