Two weeks ago I was in UT for the 50th birthday celebration of my grandfather's drugstore. It was such a memorable day- ALL of our family was there; cousins, aunts, uncles & our children (except Bill). To thank his customers for their 50 years of patronage he served hot dogs, popcorn, soda, and ice cream bars- my kids were in heaven!
I have such fond memories of visiting & then working for my grandpa so I love that my girls also get to know him!
Inside the store he still has the bar and bar stools back from when he served sodas & hard ice cream at the fountain! (That was pre- my life!)
