Our car is in the shop today so Bill came home from work to take Madisen to preschool. While I was explaining to Bill how to get to preschool, Madisen went to the car to buckle herself in. Caitlyn got her shoes & backpack on, "wike Madsen", and took daddy's hand as she said, "Mon daddy. Car seat." Bill asked her where she was going. Her reply, "In daddy's car." I knew taking her away was going to be painful. And it was. She SCREAMED, "Daddy take my car seat. Go wif daddy!" I promptly tried to distract her with the toy car you see in her right hand, but that wasn't working. I asked her if she'd like a few candy corns & that was golden, but they had to be in a bowl. Of course the first 5 I gave her weren't sufficient, she needed a "wittle bit more". Sigh. So here she is, a somber Caitlyn being rewarded for staying home with mommy this morning.*She wore her backpack for about the first hour. And it's been on & off at least 4 times since then.

Oh! That makes my heart hurt! She is so sweet!
Oh cute Caitlyn! She is so adorable. Meg has the same problems when Andrew goes places without her. I just love that she wants to be big!
That is so cute and funny. I don't know how they manage, but little girls always know how to twist your heart enough to get what they want. ie. fruit snacks, candy corn. She is such a doll. I love singing with her in nursery.
She is so darn cute! I love how you put in her words exactly how they sound! :)
I can't wait for a little girl of my own--though I am scared that I'll spoil her...she'll be the only girl...for now...if I can convince Bryan to have more!
I love how Caitlyn talks. She sounds like great entertainment despite the traumatic experience.
Ahhh that is so sad and funny at the same time, poor girl!
