Yikes!
After waiting all of this time (7 weeks feels like an eternity) for a computer I'm having buyers remorse. You see we have been borrowing my father-in-laws laptop and I don't like it! There are some frustrating features; I can't highlight just one ore two words, I can't click & drag, the cursor doesn't move where I want with the left click of the mouse, etc. I just vented my frustration to Bill & he said, "Oh, that's Vista. My dad hates Vista." AHHHHHH! This means that our new computer will have Vista. Just last week when the RS President was here for a visit she was telling me that Microsoft is coming out with a new OS at the end of the month, I think it's Windows 8, or something. So if I could wait 3 more weeks, using the laptop, I could have the new OS. I suggested to Bill that maybe we should return the computer & wait a few more weeks. He laughed. Then reminded me that with new software there are new bugs to be worked out. But which is worse- having the old, non-user friendly software, or the new & uncharted software????

I say return it and buy a MAC!! Buying a Mac is the end of any computer troubles you have ever had, trust me! No such thing as bugs with the MACS, I don't know how they do it but I've been in Mac heaven for over two years now and I will never go back! :) Just throwing out the options!
They are more expensive on the front end, but SOOOOO worth it if you can swing it!
I too love MAC.... both computers and makeup...but I am super glad to hear that you will be catching up! Hopefully you are enjoying the rain down there and having lots of fun!
Gees Emi...buyers remorse from the MAC lovers???? Hope you are adjusting to life still! You are great and I love that i have you to talk with! I'm sure your computer will be great and the truth is, won't we all be wanting new computers in two or three years anyways???? love you and Tell Bill hi!

Hey Emilee! Sorry...I know it's probably a little late for this comment, but I say WAIT for Windows 7 to come out. We too bought a computer with windows Vista, and I HATE windows Vista. It's the worst. I've heard great reviews about windows 7, and have heard that they've fixed a lot of problems that people were having with Vista. Anyway...that's my two cents!
