Let me back up, because this story really starts last night. Madisen went to a birthday party last night. It was a PJ party late-over. You know, where they get to stay out until 9:00! Anyway, dinner was included and somehow we got the idea that it was going to be pizza. Miss Caitlyn INSISTED that we eat pizza and watch a movie here, just like Madisen would be doing. So we obliged. When Madisen came home she was giggly as she said that they'd had BREAKFAST for dinner; pancakes and fruit. The mom assured the girls that pizza makes a great breakfast, just as pancakes make a great dinner.
And so this morning when Bill and I were lingering in our bed the girls ran downstairs to get some milk for Brooklyn. While in the fridge they discovered some leftover pizza. They eagerly ran up to ask if they could have pizza for breakfast. Why not? So Madisen returned with a knife so we could help her cut it. We finally decided to get up and get dressed so the door was locked when Caitlyn returned.
"Just a minute." We called after she knocked.
"Oh, I brought you a piece of pizza to share. I'll slide it under the door for you." Next thing you know there is a piece of cold, stiff pizza on our side of the door.
We COULD NOT stop laughing.
