Aquarium

Last Friday there was no school for Madisen and our friend arranged a group trip to the Downtown Aquarium for a discounted rate so off we went! It was the perfect way to kick off our 4 day weekend!

We had a better idea of what to expect this year and weren't in rush to get back, so we meandered through the fish exhibits, thoroughly enjoying each one. Here the girls stopped to pose in a boat with some friends.
There was a large tank for petting sting rays and sand sharks. I love the look on Madisen's face as she pulls her hand away from the slimy creature.
Caitlyn also got brave enough to touch, but Brooklyn was just mesmerized by their proximity.

It will always be a mystery to me why there is a white tiger at the Aquarium, but it was a big hit! He 'chased' the girls back and forth and even showed us how tall he is! And later we got to watch the tiger feeding show.
Then it was on to the outside, where we had an unlimited rides pass- did I mention that we all got in for the price of 1 adult?!!!

After my panic attack last year, I was hesitant to get on the Ferris Wheel again. But Caitlyn really wanted me to ride with her, so I left Brooklyn on the ground. It was MUCH better for all involved!

Brooklyn's favorite part of the day was riding the carousel. I lost count how many times we were on there! Caitlyn thought she was so clever on one of her turns when she was riding a seal, because she named him 'Sealy'. She cracked herself right up!

How cool to get to pet a sting ray! I love the "bubble" to look at them from underneath. How fun!

Oh, and your glasses are super cute, by the way :)
