Good Friday
In Texas Good Friday is a holiday. The kids don't go to school & several companies are closed- including our daddy's work. We celebrated by attending an Easter party thrown by a friend in our ward (forgot the camera) where the girls hunted for eggs, decorated cookies, and colored eggs. Thanks Cameo!!
After lunch we headed to the Natural Science Museum where we explored an exhibit that we hadn't seen yet, about geology.
Across the street is Herman Memorial Park. We've driven by several times, but the weather hasn't ever been cooperative enough for us to stop. Today, however, was perfect. We enjoyed a train tour through the huge, Washington-monument-like park. Next time we visit the museum we'll bring a picnic and make a day of it.

That's cool about Good Friday being a holiday! It's our spring break right now (although there was nearly a foot of snow on our lawn on Thursday!). You guys are always doing such fun stuff. Love it! Happy Easter!xoxo
