This afternoon while I was washing the dishes the big girls went outside to retrieve a toy they had left on the play set yesterday. Upon reentering the house, the first thing I heard was Caitlyn tattling that Madisen had broken the swing. In disbelief I turned around to see the girls. The conversation went something like this:
E: "Madisen, did you break the swing?"
M: "Yes."
E: "Did you mean to?"
M: "Well, yeah."
E: "Why would you do that?"
M: Shrugging her shoulders, "Because I wanted to. Dad can fix it."
Caitlyn so matter-of-factly added: "Yeah, and that was CTR-wrong!"
End of discussion. I laughed in my head as I turned back to my sink full of water for 5 minutes. Trying REALLY hard not to let the girls see me cracking up. Apparently Caitlyn IS getting what we are trying to teach.

That is too funny! At least you know something is sticking, right? Those kids are dang cute, Em. :) xoxo
that's so cute... I love the middle girl.....
I just tried to click the 'like' button (as in Facebook). I have nothing witty to say, but think it's a cute story. And Madisen's comments sound like something Joshy would say/do. Age of purposeful destruction? Not so great.
Love it! I could totally see Caitlyn saying that. I'm glad you laughed because Ben and I thought it was hysterical.
