On Saturday night after my girls were off in dream land, my mom, my sister and I made a quick escape to a chick flick. I'd heard
great things about this film and it didn't disappoint. The plot was a bit slow and predictable, but the scenery and the love story made up for it.

My parents spoiled us by watching all 5 kids so my sisters and I could attend a play at the
Hale Center Theatre. When we were growing up our neighbors across the street owned the theater and we often went to dress rehearsals for YW activities to 'fill the seats', so it was a blast to our past.

My review: Great company, engaging acting, catchy songs, stunning costumes, clever plot, wonderful set, a must see!!
(Really, anything they do is fabulous!) Sadly, there was a gay character and I don't like that even in broadway musicals this liberal agenda is being thrown at us as 'acceptable'.

We chuckled that the entrance to the theater looked like a classic 80's wedding- pink, poofy, and frilly!
And last, but certainly not least, we took the kids (minus the sleeping babies) to see Toy Story 3.

I may have shed a tear or two at the end. Not because the movie was sad, but because of the implication of your children growing up and moving on. No WAY am I ready for that. I often tell Bill that I want to freeze time right now! 1,3, and 5 are perfect ages for me! I'm lovin' every minute!

The cousins all squished together.

But really Caden sat with Aunt Kellie and Caitlyn sat with me most of the time.

Letters to Juliette looks really cute. I love clean chick flicks...and they're hard to come by. I'll have to see this one.
I got teary for the same reason in Toy Story! Hazy started eating rice cereal last week and it gives me an inkling of those feelings...silly, perhaps. But it's one step closer to her growing up! It's happening much too quickly!
I know what you mean about wanting to freeze time. I am dreading my little boys growing up! I've heard that Letters to Juliet is SO GOOD!
