On Friday night we went 'camping' with some friends. We couldn't actually stay the night b/c of some prior obligations on Saturday morning. So for us it was a great get away to the 'mountains' for tinfoil dinners and S'mores. It was refreshing to get out of the city for a few hours, and it was only 45 minutes away.
Caitlyn was a little clingy due to her short naps during the day- and she was a little unsure of the campfire smoke.
Caitlyn & I were great 'help' to Kate as she was setting up the bathroom. We were actually on an assignment to gather some firewood. We gathered what we thought was enough, until Zach absolutely out did us by going out on the 4-wheeler & returning with almost an entire tree on the back.
Madisen & Reagan are such sweet friends. They called this the friend chair where they sat to eat their dinners. If you look close enough you'll see Madisen's ketchup smeared face... it's all part of the camping experience.
I love that both girls are mesmerized by the fire! It wasn't long after this picture that ALL 6 children were
asking to go to bed.

Kate's hair looks so cute! It turned out so good on her. Does she straighten it? It looks like she does! I love it. Tell her I said so! I did the mountain thing with some friends a few weeks ago. We had a blast too!
Such fun memories, glad you were there to share some of them with us! We must do it again!
