Departing the Learning Express

Today was Caitlyn's last day of preschool at the Learning Express. They ended the year right with water games for a review. Caitlyn has L-O-V-E-D preschool this year! She has gained confidence, enhanced her social skills, mastered all but one letter (the U), learned to write her name, and MUCH more. Her teachers have been wonderful! They are organized, creative, thorough and happy! I love that they teach to the whole child; you know, gross motor, fine motor, tactile, music, etc. Another thing I loved was the daily email they sent home to report on what the kids did in class that day. It allowed me as a parent to have specific talking points and follow up conversations. I think Caitlyn's favorite parts were the daily raffle drawings for prizes and the end of the year book she received with pictures documenting her 2010-2011 preschool year, complete with a note from her teachers.

We are looking forward to another great year with Miss Haley next year!
