St. Patrick's Day

We woke up to some mild mischief caused by a few Leprechauns. After all were adorned in their green attire, we had green oatmeal and kiwi for breakfast. The kiwi was not a winner with this silly crowd. Then it was off to the park for our 2nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Potluck Party.

(The green punch was a hit with the kid-o's!)

This year Amy headed up the treasure hunt... just look at that sea of green.
I wish this picture did justice to just how many people showed up. The more the merrier to celebrate silly holidays... especially when it's spring break!

We followed green footprints through the forest to the pot o' gold.

Look at these kindergartners showing off their treasure! (A chocolate gold coin and a silly band)
Oh, how I love these girls!!
A picture's worth 1000 words... Happy & Obedient Madisen, Silly Caitlyn, Sour Face Brooklyn

The rest of our day consisted of a nap for mom & Brooklyn while the other 2 enjoyed a show, a green bath, and green chicken and rice for dinner with green jell-o and green beans! Ah, the simple pleasures of devoting a day to a color.
