OK, so we've been home from our 3 week vacation for 10 days now, but I'm just getting around to the blog. Re-entering life after you've been gone that long takes a little time. Especially when you return home to swimming lessons, art classes, primary, and freezer meals.
While we were gone our RS had an cooking activity and one of the classes was about green smoothies. I've been wanting to add more green vegetables to our diet for a while and this seems like the perfect way. We've had about 4 now and surprisingly, my best green smoothie drinker is Madisen!! I'm delighted that she's getting spinach (more greens soon) and blueberries. I haven't read the book, nor am I converted the 12 step program, but I do believe that we need to eat more raw vegetables. Hooray! I love green smoothies, and my kids love them! Mostly I modify it for our family also, but any chance to sneak a little green veggies down their bellies works for me!

I've never heard of this program, but we've loved green smoothies for years. It's amazing that Joshua will help put in stuff he never eats on a plate (spinach, cucumbers, etc), but greedily drink it all up in a green smoothie.

I need to try it out.. I'm always feeling bad that my kids probably don't eat enough veggies. I love your new pictures!!
